Leaf Blown Wilds
Whenever the wild symbols appear on the screen, a gust of wind blows leaves in a particular direction, and wild symbols expand there.
Three butterfly Free Spins Scatters trigger the free spin round. During this round, you start off with three free spins, and any winning round the counter resets.
During this free spins minigame, every reel has a progress bar and a multiplier. The blue butterfly adds its value to the reel on which it lands. The green butterfly multiplies its value with the reel multiplier. The bumblebee increments the progress bar that it ends up at forward by one, and the tornado affects all the reels. If all the progress bars get filled up then a max win of 5000x is awarded.
A Nature Theme
The theme of this slot is all things natural. All of the symbols are mushrooms, bugs, fruits, or nuts, all things you might find in a forest or nature setting. The game itself is sort of reminiscent of foraging in a forest, looking for mushrooms or fruits that you can eat. Unfortunately, in this modern era, most of us live in cities and don’t have much opportunity to experience the wild first hand. But maybe that is what slots like Forest Fortune are for.
After playing Forest Fortune for a while, our conclusion is that it is a pretty good video slot. The setting and graphics used by the designers are quite soothing and enjoyable. The nature theme is a simple but pleasant one and playing the game was a very peaceful, even serene experience. The free spins feature was also quite nice.
The best part about the free spins game was the unusual gameplay, with the special butterflies and the resetting spins. It was a novel experience and a fun one at that. Also very nice is the ‘Spreading Wilds’ feature during the base game and the special effects that come with it.
While it is true this slot doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles, the features it does have are implemented very well and most importantly the experience of playing it was a good one.
